The Da Vinci Initiative works with art teachers from across the world to bring skill-based teaching methods into K-12 classrooms.
With the support of Principal Arthur Adamakos, these Memorial High School art teachers helped orchestrate a two-day professional development workshop that brought the well-known Boston School artist, Paul Ingbretson, to work with art teachers from both New Hampshire and Maine.
Paul Ingbretson is an artist who is classically trained and taught realism skills to art teachers during this two-day workshop. (http://studio.ingbretson.com)
Liam Sullivan from The Maine College of Art (http://meca.edu) also provided instrumental support for this program by securing donated space and refreshments for the event.
